Nikon unveils Z 30 camera and targets social media content creators

Well-known for its high-quality cameras, Japanese electronics giant Nikon unveiled another masterpiece at Gurugram on Wednesday.

The Z 30, Nikon’s latest mirrorless camera, was introduced at the Museo Camera Center for the Photograph Arts by Nikon India Managing Director Sajjan Kumar.

Combining technology with exciting elements, the event aimed to demonstrate the small, lightweight and feature-rich camera that allows vloggers to immerse themselves in an exciting environment.

According to Sajjan Kumar, the Z 30 was designed specifically for those who upload vlogs and other audiovisual content to social media platforms.

“We are thrilled to introduce our new feature-rich, compact and lightweight Z 30 mirrorless camera, designed specifically for young content creators, vloggers and streamers. The Z 30 is the embodiment of creativity and is on poised to attract the interest of young and ardent photographers. We are confident that our new Nikon Z 30 offers creators the ability to easily produce the kind of video content that gets noticed,” he said.

“Ideal for video creators and vloggers, the Z 30 is compact and easily portable for backpack or purse,” he added.

The camera comes with its built-in microphone in plain view, a video recording light — the REC lamp that warns of recording in progress, automatic switching to self-portrait mode when the monitor is facing forward and a viewing angle that’s about 100% even at 4K UHD/30p.

The Z 30 features a 7.5cm vari-angle touchscreen to give users the ability to get creative with their shots.
