NAB Show NY: Interra will present its expertise in quality control and monitoring of multimedia content
Recent innovations in quality control and content monitoring – designed to meet needs as varied as content preparation and delivery as well as audio/video quality checks and 24/7 monitoring needs 7 – will be presented by Interra Systems at the 2022 NAB Show New York.

The technology is designed to help media companies improve audio/video quality, manage metadata, deploy cloud and hybrid environments, and automate media processing and verification.
The company plans to showcase the latest enhancements to the ORION content monitoring suite, which focuses on a variety of cloud deployment scenarios for live and VOD content. Enhancements showcased at the show will include ad insertion monitoring, Dolby Vision and HDR support, visual trends for QoS and QoE metrics, CPIX-based DRM integrations, and new audio/video quality controls. To accommodate changing bandwidth requirements or the need for daily service availability reporting, the technology includes a new flexible licensing model.
At the show, the company also plans to demonstrate the ORION solution for real-time monitoring of linear channels in an IP-based delivery environment. New features include support for monitoring contribution stream formats, additional audio quality controls such as peak levels and audio clipping, improved video loss detection, HDR and ad compliance and HTTPS-based secure access, among other features.
As part of its ORION suite of products, the company’s new ORION 2110 probe is designed to simplify IP surveillance. Key system features include NMOS redundancy and integration, IP-related parameter monitoring, and support for SCTE-104 advertising signal monitoring.
Other solutions showcased at the show include ORION Central Manager, an enterprise-wide viewability management system that allows a media company to manage multiple ORION linear and ORION-OTT configurations at different locations depending on the needs ; BATON ML/AI compatible automated quality control platform, including BATON Captions automated captioning solution, BATON WINNOW, content classification and identification system, BATON LipSync system; and the VEGA media analysis platform.
